To put it simply, this event offers a unique blend of active learning opportunities from both industry experts and YP peers in an energetic and empowering environment. Our educational focus includes credit union fundamentals, developing leadership skills, and building a supportive network of peers for future collaboration.

We are so excited to be getting our young professionals back together and under one roof, we have really pulled out all the stops for this event! Some might say this YP Conference will be the GOAT, and they wouldn’t be wrong! Who should attend? Our IL Young Professionals Group, CU Reach, aims to create opportunities for credit union professionals age 40 and under (or 40 at heart!), or for those who are new to the credit union movement, or for anyone looking to have their CU passion triggered in the best way! So, basically the Young Professionals Conference is for EVERYONE!

Why should you attend, or send staff? So. Many. Reasons. But to name a few- This event offers young professionals a learning experience that is designed for them, specifically and intentionally. From the speakers and their content, to the curated activities and giveaways. Every element is viewed through the lens of YP needs and affinity to guarantee an experience that resonates, empowers, inspires and connects the participant with their CU passion, and invites them into a community of their peers for growth and support. Also, it is simply a really good time!

Cost – $150

What does this get you? For the low cost of $150, each participant will receive a conference registration for our one-day event on Friday, June 24, 2022. This also includes breakfast, lunch, snacks and beverages throughout the day! Beyond that, they will receive a complimentary surprise gift upon arrival, tons of swag to take home, entry into a raffle, and much more!

Where – Embassy Suites, Lobby Bar

Date – Thursday, June 23, 2022

Time – 5:30 – 7:00 pm

This is an optional evening networking event for anyone interested and in town the night before the event!

We invite you to stop on by the Embassy Suites Lobby Bar (1823 Abriter Ct., Naperville, IL) from 5:30-7:00 for some conversation and cocktails! Two free drink tickets will be provided to anyone staying at the hotel, otherwise their is a cash bar option. We hope to see you there!

Dress Code – Since the event is on a Friday, our dress code is business casual! What does that mean? Basically, jeans, a nice shirt, and comfy shoes are a-ok!

Bring Some Cash! – We will be hosting the first ever YP Conference Silent Auction this year, so bring some cash or dust off that check book! All fundraising that takes place at the event will be donated to the Ukrainian Credit Union Displacement Fund organized by the Worldwide Foundation for Credit Unions (WFCU) in partnership with the World Council (WOCCU). The silent auction will have 15+ baskets of awesome goodies valued around $25 each, and an additional raffle will take place for $1 entries. Get ready to do some good!

Surprises! – Well, we can’t tell you about them, because then they wouldn’t be surprises… But just know that we have a lot of fun gifts, giveaways, activities, and other shenanigans planned that you won’t want to miss!
