Advocacy Main List: Any mass communication from the Advocacy Department, which may include:

• Legislative Report – Sent 10 times a year and contains the latest information related to state and federal legislative, regulatory and political issues.
• Weekly Government News (WGN) – The WGN is sent weekly (usually Fridays) while the Illinois General Assembly is in session and gives an update on that week’s legislative and regulatory activities related to credit unions.
• Advocacy Event Announcements – information about State Legislative Summit or the CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC).
• Action Alerts –  sent as necessary when a credit union legislative or regulatory issue of critical importance that needs grassroots assistance to defeat or pass.
• CUPAC Announcements – emails regarding registering for CUPAC fundraisers.

Compliance

Compliance Main List: Any mass communication from the Compliance Department, which may include:

• L&T Bulletin: Sent on a monthly basis and provides an analysis of any changes to laws or regulations that impact credit unions.  This communication keeps credit unions informed about compliance requirements.
• Compliance Blog: Generally sent on a weekly basis and provides information on a range of topics related to regulatory compliance or general operations.  Topics are selected by each author and typically provide a brief summary highlighting the most important information about the subject.  This format allows credit unions to gather essential information in a quick and efficient manner.
• Regulatory Alerts: Are sent on a as need basis and are used to alert credit unions about pending regulatory changes or risks that will have a direct impact on the credit union’s operations.  This communication provides access to information as it happens, so credit unions are aware of the steps to take to ensure compliance or mitigate risk.
• Compliance Events: Provides details regarding any upcoming compliance related events or training opportunities offered by ICUL, such as the Annual Attorneys Conference.

Small CU Listserv: Peer group notices and communications for the Small Asset Size Peer Networking Group

YPs: Young Professionals Conference Info and other young professionals related communications.

Illinois Sister Society:  Group event notices and communications about activities.

ICU Foundation Newsletter: Monthly newsletter featuring financial health & wellness resources, financial education programs, ICUF events and activities.

FiCEP: Certified Credit Union Financial Counselors (CCUFCs) receive occasional emails about the FiCEP program including training sessions and renewal reminders.
