The Women’s Leadership Conference is designed for credit union leaders and professionals to learn, connect, and collaborate to support the advancement of women in our industry.  Created for women, by women, ICUL strives to provide participants with knowledge and networking opportunities needed to make a difference for each other, their members and their communities.

  • Elizabeth Osborne is an experienced operations and information technology leader based in the greater Chicago area, with a solid background in the Credit Union and banking industries. With a track record of success, she has held prominent roles such as Chief Information Officer (CIO) in Community Banking and Business Integration for Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) for a regional bank. She has been recognized by American Banker as one of the “Most Powerful Women in Credit Unions” for two years in a row, 2023 and 2024.

Barbara’s leadership has profoundly shaped the mission and growth of NLCUP, her strategic approach and passion for empowering Latinx communities have helped NLCUP become a national leader in advocating for financial inclusion and economic empowerment. Her extensive experience includes various roles in financial services and community engagement, where she has consistently championed the importance of financial inclusion and equity.

Jen understands the necessary skills to make significant leaps in your career, including mindset, asking for what you want, interviewing skills, the ability to negotiate, professional presence and more. In addition to her corporate work, Jen leverages her experience with her personal company, Brave Women at Work. At Brave Women at Work, Jen offers career and leadership coaching for women. She helps her clients better identify their strengths, what they want, what is holding them back and how to remove these barriers so they can take bolder and braver action in their careers.

With over a decade of experience in marketing and communications within the healthcare and financial industries, she has successfully developed and led campaigns that drive engagement, build brand awareness, and foster meaningful connections with communities. As an immigrant, Ana understands firsthand the challenges of navigating financial systems and accessing resources. This personal experience fuels her passion for financial literacy and community outreach, ensuring that individuals and families have the knowledge and support they need to achieve financial stability.

  • Deborah Fears is President/CEO of Chicago Post Office Employees Credit Union, with over 20 years of experience in finance, accounting, and HR. She is dedicated to credit union growth and financial wellness for all. Deborah holds an MBA and B.S. in Finance from DePaul University, is a Certified Credit Union Executive (CCUE), and a Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE). She serves on the Envisant board, chairs America’s Credit Union’s Small Credit Union Committee, and leads the Midwest Chapter of the AACUC. Deborah lives the credit union mission of "People Helping People."

  • Christine Johnson is director, retirement solutions – credit union sales at TruStageTM. In this role, she is responsible for executive benefit specialists and retirement relationship managers in the credit union channel. Prior to joining the organization, Christine served as a senior national accounts manager for Lincoln Financial Distributors.  With more than 28 years of experience in the financial services industry, her primary focus is partnering with internal and external clients to drive product sales strategy.

  • Libby serves as the President and CEO of the Illinois Credit Union League and Envisant. She joined the ICU System in 2018 as President and Chief Operating Officer for Envisant, bringing with her a wealth of industry expertise. Prior to these roles, she served as CEO and President of Earthmover Credit Union in Aurora, Illinois. Since beginning her career in 1987, Libby has been dedicated to advancing the transformative impact of credit unions on local communities and the broader population. Her extensive industry leadership includes serving on the Envisant Board of Directors, acting as Chair of the Supervisory Committee for Alloya Corporate Federal Credit Union, and serving as Board Chair for American Share Insurance.
