The Illinois Credit Union League is pleased to announce the results of the 2022 League Director elections. The League would like to congratulate Kerry Fearn, Frank Padak, and Danita Swanson on their re-elections and welcome Joe Trosclair to the Board of Directors.
“We are thrilled to have Kerry, Frank, and Danita return to the Board, as well as welcome new Board member Joe Trosclair,” said Tim O’Donnell, ICUL/Envisant Board Chair. “I would also like to thank outgoing Director Sean Rathjen (District 3, Class C) for his years of service and leadership.”
Kerry, Frank, Danita, and Joe will begin their three-year terms following the adjournment of the League’s 2022 Annual Delegates’ Meeting on April 11.

Kerry Fearn, President/CEO, Area Educational CU District 1 Class A Representing: Boyle, Burnett, Danville Area, Greater Decatur, Egyptian, Kelly, Quincy, Sangamon, Southern Illinois Kerry has been the President/CEO of Area Educational Credit Union since 2008. She has been in the credit union movement for almost 30 years and has served on the League Board since 2009. |

Frank Padak, President & CEO, Scott CU District 1 Class D Representing: Boyle, Burnett, Danville Area, Greater Decatur, Egyptian, Kelly, Quincy, Sangamon, Southern Illinois Frank is the President/CEO of Scott Credit Union in Edwardsville, IL, a position he has held since 2005. Frank was elected to the League Board in 2020 and has served on the CUPAC Board of Directors since 2002. |

Danita Swanson, President, 2 Rivers Area CU District 2 Class B Representing: Bloomington, Central Illinois, Chicago Metro (former Southeast), Galesburg, Greater Chicagoland, Kankakee, Illinois Quad Cities, Tri-County Danita has been the President of 2 Rivers Area CU (formerly SDC Employees CU) in Kankakee since 1996. Danita is currently serving as Chair of the Kankakee Valley Chapter and has been on the League Board since 2016. |

Joe Trosclair, President/CEO, Abbott Laboratories Employees CU (ALEC) District 3 Class C Representing: Brietzke, Chicago Metro (former Southwest), Doig, Fox Valley, Northwest Illinois, Rockford Area Joe began his credit union career in 1997 at Southern Lakes Credit Union. In 2000, he joined the team at ALEC as the head of operations, assuming the role of CEO in 2011. |
