The Advocacy Team works to educate lawmakers and constitutional officers on the credit union industry. ICUL builds positive relationships with elected officials and facilitates a powerful grassroots lobbying system to successfully advocate on behalf of our members.
Federal Legislative Issues
As part of ICUL’s federal advocacy efforts, our team, alongside America's Credit Unions, engages our members and key legislators to protect and advance policy to create a favorable environment for credit unions who serve over 3.7 million Illinoisans that belong to a credit union.
