John Fiore Golf Classic 2026
We are thrilled to invite you to the inaugural John Fiore Golf Classic. While the name is new, the mission remains the same: bringing the Illinois credit union community together for a day of premier networking, friendly competition, and collective impact.
The event was renamed in honor of longtime ICU Foundation director John Fiore upon his retirement from the board and in recognition of his nearly 40 years of dedicated service. John joined the ICUF Board in 1987, when it became independent from the ICUL Executive Committee, and served two terms as board chair from 1989–1991 and 2020–2022.
Join us for a high-energy scramble tournament where every drive and putt helps fuel the Illinois Credit Union Foundation’s vital work. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just in it for the camaraderie, this is the perfect opportunity to connect with peers and associates in a relaxed, beautiful setting.

The Illinois Credit Union Foundation has a long tradition of serving the credit unions of Illinois. The mission of the ICU Foundation is " to promote the self-help ideals of credit unions through grants, scholarships and cooperative partnerships." Since 1978, the ICU Foundation has provided more than $4.9 million in scholarships for credit union professional development, grants to small credit unions to help them remain competitive, and grants for service projects that benefit local communities.
Financial Health is a high priority for the ICU Foundation as increased evidence shows the devastating impact financial stress causes for individuals and their communities.
From education and awareness to access to appropriate services to financial wellness, the ICU Foundation guides credit unions through this important journey.
