Members, community leaders, and local supporters gathered Wednesday, May 20, 2026 to celebrate a major milestone for Moline Municipal Credit Union as the credit union officially opened its new main office in Moline.

The new facility is approximately twice the size of the credit union’s previous headquarters, reflecting the organization’s continued growth and long-term commitment to serving members throughout the Quad Cities region. While the new building will now serve as the credit union’s main office, the former location will remain open and continue operating as a branch location for members.

The open house event highlighted both the credit union’s future and its deep community roots. One of the most memorable features of the celebration was the display of a restored 1949 Moline Fire Department truck parked outside the new office — a fitting tribute to the city’s history and the cooperative spirit that has long defined community financial institutions.

Guests toured the expanded space, connected with staff, and celebrated the next chapter for the credit union, which continues to invest in modernized facilities and enhanced member service.

The larger headquarters positions Moline Municipal Credit Union to continue growing alongside the community it serves while maintaining the personalized service and local connection members expect from their credit union.
